Meet our Summer Intern

Meet our summer intern, Jack! From Towanda, Illinois, Jack is a history major going into his senior year at Augie. He is exploring history-related careers to pursue following his graduation next spring.

Jack's summer project involves gaining a fundamental understanding of archival theory and applying it to archival collection descriptions. He is learning to follow DACS description guidelines and utilize PastPerfect software.

"Museum studies, archival work, and library sciences are all career paths I am very interested in pursuing. By getting first-hand experience working with archival collections, I am preparing myself for a career in similar work," he says.
