April 2022 Newsletter

View newsletter Dear friends,

Spring semester is in full swing and we were happy to welcome Dr. Kwame Adovor Tsikudo's GEOG-120 Human Geography class for a recent visit. These students are learning about global issues including migration. Students analyzed historical documents and discussed how a geographer might benefit from archival researcha true liberal arts experience!

Since this will be our last monthly newsletter before our big 40th Anniversary celebration, I must once again invite you to join us for the symposium “The Migration and Beyond: New Perspectives on Swedish-American Relations” at Augustana College on Saturday, May 7. Following the symposium, join us for an open house featuring collection highlights from the last 40 years and a celebratory dinner that evening.

If you can't join us on May 7th, please consider making a contribution to help support our next 40 years! You can easily give online, or feel free to contact us about planned giving opportunities.

Thank you for your support!
